How much does it cost to change locks?

Lock fitting starts from £55 plus the cost of the lock itself. A single cylinder change is usually a short visit; changing all the external doors and adding security hardware is quoted as a fixed price.

Do you fit insurance-approved locks?

Yes. We supply and fit quality anti-snap and insurance-approved locks and cylinders, and we're happy to work to a specific insurer's requirement — send us the wording and we'll match it.

Can you supply the locks or should I buy my own?

Either works. We supply tried-and-tested locks as standard, or we'll fit one you've bought — as long as it suits the door, which we'll check before starting so the door isn't left without a working lock.

How long does a lock change take?

A standard door lock or barrel change takes around 30 to 90 minutes. If the door also needs adjusting or the lock is a multipoint system needing alignment, allow longer — we'll tell you when we quote.

Do you fit smart locks and alarms too?

Yes — smart locks, video doorbells, window locks, additional bolts and smoke and CO alarms. We'll also make sure the door closes and locks correctly with the new hardware before we leave.
