How much does furniture assembly cost?

Assembly starts from £35 and is priced on the item and how complex it is. Multi-item visits are quoted together, which works out considerably cheaper per item than booking each one separately.

Can you assemble any flat-pack brand?

Yes — we assemble standard flat-pack furniture from all the mainstream retailers, along with self-assembly office and garden furniture. If a pack is missing parts or arrives damaged, we'll tell you what's missing so you can claim it from the retailer.

Do you anchor furniture to the wall?

We wall-anchor tall units such as wardrobes, bookcases and shelving as standard, using fixings suited to the wall. If you'd rather not have fixings in the wall, say so when you book and we'll discuss the safest alternative.

Do you take the packaging away?

Yes. Cardboard, polystyrene and offcuts go with us, so you're not left with a pile in the hallway. If you'd like old or broken furniture removed at the same time, add it to your request so it's priced in.

How long does assembly take?

A single item usually takes between one and three hours. A bedroom set or several items is normally a half or full day, and we'll give you the expected time when you book so you can plan around it.
